A Teacher's Perspective on School Shootings | Aaron Wayne Podcast EP49
I'm a teacher. I think about this every day I walk into school. Aaron recorded this while teaching public school, and talks about school shootings from inside the classroom.
This episode covers topics that are sensitive and may be troubling. Teachers and students have contended with violence in schools for decades now. Many people claim to have solutions, but the reality is more complex. In this episode, Aaron offers his insights on what the experience of a teacher is in regards to school violence.
NOTE: This episode was recorded in December directly after a tragic act of violence in the media, but it didn't seem right to post directly before the winter holidays.
